The trade fair in figures
The sixth edition of the annual design fair attracted a surprising number of visitors. Almost 50,000 visitors came to the five exhibition halls over just four days! The vast majority of them were representatives from the world of design and the furniture industry.
The fair consisted of six categories: bathrooms, construction, furniture, kitchens, lighting and textiles. Each occupied its own zone, making it easy for the public to find interesting exhibitions and compare the various offers on a particular theme. More than 759 companies presented themselves on an area of 100,000 square metres!

Events during the fair
World-renowned and award-winning designer Karim Rashid presented the concepts that guide his life. He emphasised how important it is to have the courage to reach for out-of-the-box solutions in his designs and how he strives to capture the individuality of each project in creating unique arrangements. He refines each of his projects down to the smallest detail. He also applies the 6xR principle: reject, reduce, repair, reuse, recycle and reform. This ecological idea of innovation seems to be improving the design world in a better and better direction.
The organisers invited participants to a free archiDAY workshop on the practical aspects of architects' and designers' daily work.
More than 1,200 professionals improved their skills. An interesting addition to the workshop was a post-competition sensory exhibition prepared by Paradyż Academy, which sponsored this year's archiDAY meeting.

The latest interior trends
At first glance, there was a strong connection between interior design and nature. There were frequent motifs from the world of flora and fauna. Minimalism, discreet colours, sparing forms, striking accessories - these were the most important observations after visiting the fair.
The bathroom area was highlighted with dazzling gold and silver furniture. Visitors were also attracted by the dedicated standing dressing tables. A stylish free-standing bathtub in an unusual colour and shape invites relaxation, while the Skulllop stand and its skull-shaped toilet was one of the most interesting offerings in the hall.
The kitchen inspirations showcased in the kitchen zone mainly focus on furniture handles and cooker hoods - some of the most interesting we saw from Ciarko Design.
The kitchen zone is not limited to domestic solutions. The exhibitors also presented numerous proposals for interior details, garden decoration, original fireplaces or beautiful ceramic barbecues.
The section of the fair devoted to furniture and accessories was a zone presenting comfort in its original guise, dominated by soft fabrics, warm upholstery and materials pleasant to the touch. The muted colours of nature were often broken up by interesting prints. Shades such as green, blue, pink, honey and mustard have also been popular recently.
Zones of dazzling light offered a variety of shapes, forms and colours. You could see striking chandeliers, minimalist lamps, designer bulbs, mood lamps, wall sconces and many other interesting solutions.
